Pierre Nabat is a young research scientist at Centre National de Recherches Météorologiques in Toulouse. His research focuses on aerosol-climate interactions. He has contributed 17 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He developed an original coupled modelling approach over the Mediterranean region and applied it at various temporal scales from case studies to future projection. He demonstrated the importance of aerosols to regional climate variability and trends. He has also initiated collaborations with scientists studying aerosol impacts on glaciology and marine biogeochemistry, and participated to various MedCLIVAR activities.
